Federation backed Liga Nacional de Básquetbol, continues the Third Phase [on Male Adults] after the TOP 4 that choosed Inacap to play Liga Sudamericana. LNB has a future because has different levels: Male Superior, Adult and Promotional; also Female Adult and Under-17.
Also a team can play on other levels like Superior and Adult, depending on their quality.

In three Groups, 11 teams play regionally, and the top eight will play series of best-of-three play-offs best vs worst and second to less-worst and so on, then another series of best-of-three semifinals, to play the finals on a best-of-five series ending December 18.
One foreign player is MANDATORY.
Programming changes are to be requested THIRTY DAYS in advance.
First round ends November First.
After the first weekend, Concepción teams have not played yet, and Group C has only three teams, so no visible trends.
Three-times-in-a-row and current DIMAYOR Champions Liceo Mixto dissapointed: lost both games. Universidad Católica won over regular teams, and Boston College also won two and by large difference.
I interviewed and saw Liceo's two foreign players Tim Crowell and Thurman Zimmerman on Casa del Deporte: still have low performance in a team that is restructuring. TZ just came back from USA 20 days ago, Crowell was driving the ball without self confidence. Patrick Sáez is RETIRING... Theese are NAMES, NOT A TEAM, they need to play more collectively.
This is a logical sport, good teams will beat bad teams, when two big teams collide is when it matters. Boston beat Liceo at Los Andes, so this decide the top of the group in advance.

División Mayor del Básquetbol has not fixture (calendar) yet, not even defined the teams, so regional championships are scheduled. Then there should be wider North & South Zonal Championships to finish in the now popular TOP 4 style weekend.
This weekend there will be one in Puerto Montt.

Hola Deportes has been showing delayed weekday sports games at midnight on telecanal, including basketball games from LNB. No previous announcement but on the Radio Show.

The Chilean Under-15 Men Team qualified to the FIBAAMERICA's Pre World Cup (U-16) in Canada 2011 for the First time. "Manu" Córdoba is been proving to succeed on U-18 and Juegos Araucanía.
