Boston College Maipu beat Espanol Talca real close in the Chilean Finals

Rodrigo Espinoza and Patricio Arroyo, experienced and probably the sixth man of Boston College were the top scorers in the winner. Young Franco Morales scored 24 in the looser in the first of best-of-five Playoff Series of Liga Nacional Basquetbol Movistar.

UDECONCE beat Aleman at San Pedro with signature third Quarter rise

Sunday afternoon, the new Concepcion classic for Group A was played in San Pedro, it was for UDECONCE, but flat at the end of the first half.

Universidad de Concepcion without Eduardo Marechal, but reinforced with Sebastian Figueroa, comfortably beat Aleman after a close first half, disctinctive changing routes on the third quarter gaining a lead that was to be unreachable for Aleman.

I interviewed Coach Rodolfo Caceres before the game, then after: Matias Villagran (returning from an injury), reliable Albert Gueneau, Evandro Arteaga and Jackie Rogers.

Next week both teams play weak Osorno Basquetbol down South, to revenge Monday in Casa del Deporte.

Emotional debut of UDECONCE at home vs Espanol with a last second decision

Saturday night, the anticipated battle for the lead was played on the debut at Casa del Deporte Gym.

Club Deportivo Universidad de Concepcion (CD UDECONCE) vs known rival visitors Espanol and first time clash Osorno Basquet.

October 16, 2010, was the first game of two games for Universidad de Concepcion at home on Group A for Liga Nacional de Basquetbol "Movistar" 2010, and was decided at the last second.

Espanol played Friday vs Aleman and it was a close win by Espanol [see article "Aleman blew a chance to beat candidate Espanol"].

At 20:00 GMT -3, UDECONCE debuted, and also debuted foreign addition Jacquon "Jackie" Rogers, playing against Espanol Talca. Jackie Rogers did not influence the game, because he repeatedly blamed his only two practices with the team and getting to know the foul calls on the League.

Alemán blew a chance to beat candidate Español

Tonight Deportivo Alemán Concepción lost a game receiving Español Talca in the Hills of San Pedro, after a big start, false start, wrong start and bad ending.

Alemán and CD UDECONCE, both from Concepción, play their first two games after a delayed first week on Group A of Liga Nacional "Movistar" 2010. Both are facing visitors Español and Osorno Básquet on consecutive days.
