UDECONCE vs Wanderers fighting to get in mini-tournaments/ not to

Saturday UDECONCE, struggling not to get in Promotion mini-tournament, hosted Santiago Wanderers, who was struggling to get into Pre-Libertadores mini-tournament.

UDECONCE did not have Solís, a shield in defense. A party organized by the club with completos (hot-dogs) and low-cost tickets, since it was the last home game (local).



Actually a lot of senior men were spotted attending.

The game had come-and-go action, but then at the 12th minute Lorenzetti was replaced by Arrué. UDECONCE by the right was a headache because of Pedro Muñoz.

There were multiple pass plays, in one of these, Pedro Muñoz receives and crosses the defense and shoots crossed to the opposed left vertical, hitting it and entering the net close to the other vertical. GOAL 1-0.

After that, there was no danger on the areas.

Only on minute 41, Cabral by the left made two outstanding plays reaching the offensive end line, he outrun a defender, and then two others entering the area, but one of them grabs his shirt commiting penalty. The referee was 5 meters away BUT DID NOT SANCTION IT.

1-0 at the end of the first half.

At second half UDECONCE kept attacking with danger, but just entered Seguel, in a conterattack by the left finds himself inside the area, fires a potent shot and score an undeserved tie. 1-1.

Replacements Leonel Mena and Arraya could not make a difference or though the game was entertaining again, in both goals.

The referee was booed by everybody, from the bench, Gòmez received a yellow card for this reason.

On another counter attack Opazo -by left- shoots a pass/ goal shot that turns into an arc and scores a liar 1-2, in favor of Wanderers, at 37th minute of the second half.

There was 5 minutes added time, UDECONCE was attacking trying to at least tie the game. Arraya received in the inner area and shot point blank direct to the goalie body but contains.

Finished the game, UDECONCE 1-2 Wanderers, this play summarizes it: if were not because of random or genial plays, the rest was middle field play or long passes and messy attacks.

A lost opportunity by the local, Wanderers knew when defend and seize the counter attacks, taking advantage of this few chances (plus a bad call by the referee) decided the game.

Now both depend on other results, Wanderers did his part, UDECONCE wasted it.
