XLVIII Feria Arte Popular

This is the last weekend of the Fair, you can find some items in sale, but the best are probably gone, still, you can get in touch with the artisans, they may take orders, that is the beauty of this Fair: you can reach the artists, it is not just a shop.

Viva Dichato
In order to continue helping the reconstruction process of the devastated Dichato Bay, the Festival "Viva Dichato" will run every Saturday, with famous popular bands performing live, including radio transmissionn and nationwide TV (from 23:30). You need to get your free invitations on any of several locations on the Region VIII.

New Year 2011 in Talcahuano by Sergio Benítez

On major cities in the Region VIII, fireworks shows can be seen on New Year's Eve, but also Friday 30, others later on Sunday 1st. Traditional and new, the people will enjoy and have to get used to, since fireworks have been banned to civilians for years, due to a campaign not to be burned, specially children.
